I figured, I'd rather spend my money on quality tools than a good toolbox, given that I had already bought a great set of expensive plugins. Having lost most of the programs I had on my teen computer, I then looked around for cheaper (read: free) alternatives to FL Studio. Now, 7 years and two new computers later, I finally bought Komplete 12 Select in the summer sale. Eventually I stopped making music, as University got busy and I just lost interest for a while. In about 5 years of making music with FL studio, I finished 5 songs. With the easy availability of it and tutorials, it was a super accessible to people new to music production, especially in the EDM community.īut, also like many other people, I always struggled finishing songs. And like many people, I started with FL Studio. When I was around 15, I started making electronic music.
